We recently partnered up with IYC to support Primary School 5, Vinh Chau, Soc Trang. There are currently 330 students but one of the issues it faces is during the dry season, the school can’t provide enough water for the children and ultimately, result in affecting their education. We are a strong believer in the education system as it provides an opportunity to rise from poverty and have the opportunity for a better life. After surveying Primary School 5, Vinh Chau, Soc Trang, we decided to install a water basin and water tank for the school which will provide safe, clean water today. The cost breakdown is as follows:
Water Tank 500L = 2,000,000đ
Stand 1M = 600,000đ
Basin = 1,000,000đ
Soap holders: 2×40,000đ = 80,000đ
Additional materials (screws, nails, bolts, tape, paint, etc): 1,181,000đ
Transportation (for basin) = 100,000đ
Total cost = 4,961,000đ (approximately £144.11)
