As promised Fundraise For Vietnam come back to support for Chi Khe 2 school in Lam Khe village, Chi Khe ward, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province, Vietnam with 20 desks and benches for the Thai minority students. Those desks and benches have been placed in year 6 and 7 classrooms. The very old desks and benches that were spread thinly among all the classroom have now been consolidated in remaining classrooms. These have been temporarily modified to suit the size of the children until more replacement desks and benches can be provided in the future. The cost of 20 benches and desks are 24.000.000 dong (1.200.000dong/bench and desk). The delivery cost 3.520.000dong but the school shared a half so we paid a half 1.760.000 dong. In total, this project cost 25.760.000dong (about 873 English Pound).

Fundraise For Vietnam donated 21.760.000dong. Many Thanks to the school for sharing the cost of delivering the desks to the school. Many thanks to the school principal and the wonderful teachers all working there to provide the best for the education of the children. We visited each classroom in turn and spent some time with the teachers and children of every class. We ended the visit with a wonderful group photo of the whole school. We hope to return to the school in the near future and the other schools to see what further help we might be able to provide. The desks are very well made and perfect for the age group of the children.
