On our journey through Da Lat, we were introduced to Hoi Nguoi Mu Lam Dong blind school, founded in 2003, and is responsible for over 50 children and adults. One of the concerns from the founder was it gets really cold at night and it’s no surprise; especially as Da Lat is 1,500 metres above sea level. We were quick to head to the local store and help where we can. The cost breakdown are as follows:
3kg thick blanket: 25 X 210,000 = 5,250,000VND
Mosquito nets: 25 X 100,000 = 2,500,000VND
Total cost = 7,750,000VND (approximately £246.91)
