We collaborated with Circle of Friends to help support 73 blind children at Nguyen Van To school. After speaking with the school principal in regards to their school conditions, we were informed they have enough equipment. We decided to give the blind children a mental boost for their effort and to keep up their hard work on studying by handing out gift packages with the help of May Nguyen, one of our Fundraise For Vietnam representatives. As part of gift giving, each blind child received the following which also include the cost breakdown:
1 Biscuit pack = 15.000 VND
1 Candy Pack = 10.000 VND
Tooth brush + toothpaste= 25.000 VND
The total cost is 3,650,000 VND so thank you all that made a difference to their lives. Circle of Friends worked hard to transform used calendars to make Braille cards as educational materials for the blind students.
